Mark Schnabel, Apache Junction Mounted Rangers training officer, on March 1 presented Kate Bryant, Floyd Lepine and Doug Whipple with their cross sabers for completing the mounted ranger qualification requirements. Completing the mounted qualification requirements allows a ranger to perform duties on horseback, according to a release.
