Fire district has sandbags for AJ, Gold Canyon residents in case of flooding

Superstition Fire and Medical District is offering residents of Apache Junction and Gold Canyon sand and sandbags at three of its fire stations to use in case of flooding, according to the SFMD Facebook page.

The stations are:

Fire Station 261, 1135 W. Superstition Blvd. in Apache Junction; Fire Station 262, 3955 E. Superstition Blvd. in Apache Junction; and Fire Station 264, 7557 E. U.S. Highway 60 in Gold Canyon.

These are self-service filling sites so bring residents should bring their own shovel or scoop.
