Art Fesler-Butts: Nonprofit clubs say thanks to local businesses

The Kiwanis Club of Apache Junction (serving the children of the world, one child and one community at a time), Paws4Life (dog-obedience and service-dog training), USS Leonidas (StarTrek) and the Non-Commissioned Officers’ Association (representing the military from active duty through careerist and everyone in-between) want to thank the following businesses for their support of our clubs by allowing us to have garage and yard sales on their properties: Cyndi and Dan Ware, Promack Treasures Hunters; Jeff Serdy, AJI Sports; Kris and Jim Hall along with Terri of the former Watchful Eye now StorQuest storage facility and to the Weinburger family of Action House Public Auction who have helped us all raise funds through their auctioning of our items.

We are very thankful to these businesses and the people who work at these businesses because the funds raised help us to help families, animals and other community services by affording us the donations that we so badly need.

We know the economy is extremely hard on most everyone but through the help of these business we are there to pitch in.
