Joyce Bulman of Gold Canyon has been named chief operations officer of Hospice of the Valley, a not-for-profit provider of end-of-life care in Maricopa and northern Pinal counties.

Ms. Bulman, a registered nurse, will oversee centralized operations, which includes quality/compliance and education, according to a press release.

She joined Hospice of the Valley in 2012 as director of clinical services for the East Office and later served as director of quality and compliance. She came from North Dakota, where she was director of hospice and home care for Altru Hospital.

Ms. Bulman’s commitment to end-of-life care is inspired by the impact hospice has on patients and their families.

“I am blessed to be able to know that every single day, the work that we are doing is making a difference,” she said in the release.
