American Legion Post 27 in Apache Junction on April 7 hosted an Americanism dinner to honor the Apache Junction teacher of the year, Susan Rabe; the Apache Junction policeman of the year, Detective Stephanie Jewell; and the fireman/paramedic of the year, Ryan Ledbetter.
