AJ Mounted Rangers provide security at Superstition Mountain Museum event

The Apache Junction Mounted Rangers worked March 8-10 at the Superstition Mountain Museum’s Mata Ortiz – Magic of Mexican Artistry event.

The AJ Mounted Rangers worked at the Superstition Mountain Museum helping with parking and providing security and information to the many guests who came to see the artist, Mata Ortiz, according to a release.

There was also music and entertainment, which included Teton Ken giving free donkey rides.

“He genuinely looks like The Lost Dutchman. The parking lot was always full for this event. If you missed it this year you need to make it to next year’s,” Renee Shutts, Apache Junction Mounted Ranger, said in the release.
