A rock paint party is to be held 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 31 at Apache Junction Parks and Recreation, 1035 N. Idaho Road.

“We will have an open-house-style paint party. We will supply two rocks per person (up to 100 people), paint, some old brushes and all the other supplies you will need,” according to a release.

Participants should bring one 2 oz. bottle of acrylic paint (not a primary color) to share with the table.

This event is open to all ages, but all youth under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

“Feel free to bring your own supplies — just make sure they are marked. Many of these paints are permanent so kids should wear old clothes,” according to the release.
