State Route 87, in the city of Coolidge in Pinal County, will have the following closures 6 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 15 and Thursday, April 16, in both directions to allow Arizona Department of Transportation crews to make improvements to the roadway between mileposts 125-131:
Wednesday, April 15: SR 87 traffic between mileposts 128 to 131 will be detoured to Fifth Street, Randolph Road and back onto SR 87.
Thursday, April 16: SR 87 will have intermittent closures between mileposts 125 to 129.
Message boards and crews will guide drivers through the work zone on both days.
Divers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes and are reminded to share the road, be cautious, and slow down while traveling through the work zone.
ADOT works to inform the public about planned roadway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
