Ironwood Drive/Gantzel road pavement preservation work to begin May 7

Logo Pinal CountyBeginning on Thursday, May 7, contractors will begin a pavement preservation project on Ironwood Drive/Gantzel Road from Bella Vista Road to Germann Road.

The contractors will be conducting a “fog seal” on these roads in order to prepare them for further pavement preservation work in the near future.  A fog seal is a very thin coating of an asphalt emulsion that will restore flexibility to a pavement surface, according to a press release.

Weather permitting, the work is expected to last for one week until May 14.

Pinal County asks that all drivers travel through these areas with caution and allow extra time for his or her travels, and to obey all traffic signals and watch out for road workers.
