Dan Taylor, CEO of East Valley Adult Resources, will be retiring after 25 years at the helm, according to a press release.
“We are very thankful for the strong leadership that Dan has provided East Valley Adult Resources. We will miss his energy and passion for the aging community and wish him well in his next journey in life,” Ray Villa, East Valley Adult Resources Board of Directors chairman, said in the release.
East Valley Adult Resources has been operating for 35 years. Facilities include:
- Apache Junction Active Adult Center, 1035 N. Idaho Road.
- Mesa Active Adult Center, 247 N. Macdonald Road.
- Red Mountain Active Adult Center, 7550 E. Adobe St.
Mr. Taylor has been involved in the field of aging for 41 years, serving as the program director at the Indianapolis Senior Citizens Center for 16 years prior to relocating to Mesa.
The East Valley Adult Resources Board of Directors has formed an executive search committee to develop plans for the future leadership and development of the organization. Applications for the CEO position will be available via the East Valley Adult Resources website in the near future.
Mr. Taylor will continue to assist the organization during the transition period until a new CEO is hired, according to the release.
